Join Our Research

The Han Lab is currently recruiting for one or two graduate students interested in learning plant virology, plant-virus-vector dynamics, multi-omics, systems biology, or viral evolution. In our lab, graduate students receive comprehensive, interdisciplinary training that bridges foundational biology with translational agricultural solutions. Prospective students are encouraged to review our current research directions on the Research and Publication page. Research assistantships, including stipend and tuition support, are available for qualified students.

External Fellowships: 

Researchers whose interests closely align with our group are encouraged to contact Dr. Han to discuss opportunities to develop proposals for external postdoctoral fellowships (USDA-NIFA, NSF, etc).

We welcome visiting scholars and students looking to expand their skill sets in plant virology and related areas. Collaborative research stays are hosted based on scientific alignment, available bench space, and independent funding support.
